Projects can include re-modelling the interior room layout or changing the exterior face of your property. I used a combination of these to achieve the totally new image of my own house, shown above.
It is very important to spend time thinking about how you use the space in your home and what things are important to you - do you need a separate space for children to study or play in, areas for entertaining or hobbies or a place for the dog to dry off or sleep? The thing we often don't consider is how conveniently rooms are located to related areas - for example dining or utility rooms that are too far away from the kitchen or no access from the kitchen to the garden.
